Due to the global Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we can’t conduct official races because we can’t be physically present with certified judges, officials, courses, or timing.  Therefore, we are modifying our traditional USA Track & Field Pacific Association Race Walk Grand Prix Series into something new… Welcome to the “#AloneTogether” version of the COVID-19 VIRTUAL Race Walk Grand Prix Series! Indianapolis – The 2020 USATF Hershey National Youth Outdoor Championships to be held in Miramar, Florida June 23 – 28, 2020, have been canceled, USATF announced today (Monday). Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Miramar and its local health authorities informed USATF that it would not host the championships. USATF is working to seek alternate opportunities for youth participation for later in the summer if local health authorities allow. Unfortunately, our 2020 PA MTF/Open Championships Meet has been postponed until a later date to be determined, per the USATF COVID-19 Working Group recommendation “Suspend all USATF Championship events and all USATF sanctioned events indefinitely.” Ideally, it will occur with a month of notice, and before our MTF Western Region and National Championships. 2020 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Championships cancelled Indianapolis – The 2020 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympics Track & Field Championships to be held in Jacksonville, Florida July 27-August 2 have been cancelled, USATF announced today. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the University of North Florida and its local health authorities have closed its campus through at least July 30.
