► RR PA’s Jacob Nur dominates USATF Masters 5 km Championships

The SRA Elite’s Jacob Nur, 66, (Elk Grove) easily won his division and achieved the highest male age grade at the USATF Masters 5 km Championships hosted by the Atlanta Track Club in Atlanta GA on Saturday 2/26. Nur’s time of 17:43 (net) was good enough for an age grade of 94.49% and a 39 second victory over Ken Youngers (65) who ran 18:22 for 2nd place in the M65-69 division. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of long-time East Bay coach Peter Brewer Saturday, 19 February due to a heart attack. The Pacific Association awarded Peter the ‘Legacy Coach Award’ last Saturday for his four decades of contributions to our sport.
