When an association hosts a national championship, its runners have the opportunity/challenge to show the rest of the country what they’re made of. Well on Saturday, under very difficult conditions, PA XC runners showed the rest of the country what they’re made of. Here’s how they did.     What a day it was! Following the first two races, due to the water-logged soil from the recent and race day rains, an entire tree fell across the start line, narrowly and fortunately missing runners and spectators in that area. As a result the races were moved to the Polo Fields track, and thanks to the skills and cooperation of all involved, went off as smoothly as could have possibly been expected.
