USATF Pacific has a long history of hosting open track and field competitions at all levels, from local all comers meets to international. There is a USATF Pacific annual championship meet and an annual Grand Prix with prize money for the top performers. Use the links at the right to learn more.

The 19th Annual Garin Park XC Challenge is happening this Saturday on September 28, 2024, at Garin Park in Hayward. Whether you’ve run this course before or are new to the event, it’s a chance to test your fitness on one of the Bay Area’s most scenic and challenging cross-country courses. Hello Pacific Association Cross Country Coaches, Parents & Athletes, The Pacific Association Youth Committee invites all youth athletes to participate in the 2024 Bob Shor Youth Cross Country Grand Prix. The PA’s Shannon Rowbury may end up with an Olympic bronze medal from the London 2012 Women’s 1500m. Rowbury, who originally finished in 6th place, saw her saw her official finish moved up to 4th as the gold and silver finishers, Asli Cakir Alptekin and Gamze Bulut (both representing Turkey) were disqualified for doping violations.
