A heads up for some upcoming events of interest this winter: The first races of the 2016 season will be separate female and male one-mile race walks beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016, as part of the Cal-Berkeley All Comers track and field meet at the Berkeley track. This is a good opportunity for local athletes to qualify for the national 1-mile championships at the Millrose Games on February 20th in NYC.
