SRA Elite’s Jacob Nur began the 2022 racing season just as he ended the 2021 season, running very fast. Nur, who broke the M65-69 10K AR on Thanksgiving with a blazing 35:42 at Sacramento’s Run to Feed the Hungry 10K, set a pending 10 Mile AR with a 59:11 at Saturday’s NorCal John Frank Memorial 10-Mile. The SRA Elite’s Jacob Nur, 66, (Elk Grove) easily won his division and achieved the highest male age grade at the USATF Masters 5 km Championships hosted by the Atlanta Track Club in Atlanta GA on Saturday 2/26. Nur’s time of 17:43 (net) was good enough for an age grade of 94.49% and a 39 second victory over Ken Youngers (65) who ran 18:22 for 2nd place in the M65-69 division. The HOKA Aggies’s Sergio Reyes won the Masters Men’s heat of the USATF Cross Country Championships Saturday at Mission Bay Park in San Diego.
