34 year old Sara Hall continued her exceptional 2017 season with a victory in the prestigious Freihofer’s Run for Women, the country’s top women only 5K. In February, Hall ran a 2:28:26 PR at the Tokyo Marathon.

At the 2017 Prefontaine Classic on May 27, Kate Grace (Sacramento) placed seventh in a superb women’s 1500-meter field. Grace, a 2016 Olympian at 800 meters, scored a personal record of 4:03.59 in the race where nine women went under 4:05.
