Double points will be awarded to valid USATF Pacific members (who must have signed up for this Grand Prix in their highest scored event at the PA Open Track & Field Championship. The meet will be held in conjunction with the 64th Annual Golden West Invitational on the weekend of June 1 & 2.

Jestena, a Fresno State alumna with record-setting collegiate performances, is also an Olympian, both at the Summer Olympics for Heptathlon and at the Winter Olympics on the Bobsled Team. She received a USATF Pacific Foundation training grant in 2021, folllowing exceptional performances in her post collegiate career.

USATF News Release – Indianapolis June 26, 2023 USATF MASTERS 1 MILE CHAMPIONSHIPS “Robert Qualls (Reno, Nevada), winner of the 70-74 10 km World Championship at Torun Poland this March, looked to improve on his 2022 second place effort at the 1 Mile Championships. This year Qualls left nothing to chance, going out strong in 2:42 at the halfway point, and holding on for a 5:33, dropping the American record by ten seconds.” Robert Qualls hails from Reno, NV and is a member of the River City Rebels. Jenny Hitchings has accomplished many things as a runner since turnings 55. She holds 5 American age group records from 5 km to the Marathon. She was the USATF F55-59 Road Runner of the Year in 2018 and 2021. In 2022, she was not only the USATF F55-59 Road Runner of the Year, but she also was the Overall USATF Female Road Runner of the Year and the USATF Masters Athlete of the Year!
