Effective date: July 12, 2026
The Pacific Association of USA Track & Field (PAUSATF) is a nonprofit sports association serving Northern California and Northern Nevada. This policy describes what information this website collects and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you use our contact forms or submit an event for the calendar, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, and message. We use it to respond and to run association business, nothing else.
USATF membership signup and renewal are handled by USA Track & Field’s national systems, not by this website. We do not collect or process membership payments here. See the USATF privacy policy for how the national office handles that data.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested). We use Google Analytics and WordPress.com (Jetpack) statistics to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are read most. These tools set cookies. You can block them with browser settings or extensions, and the site works fine without them.
Login cookies are set only for site editors and administrators.
Embedded content
Pages on this site embed content from other services: Google Calendar (event schedules), YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. When you view a page with embedded content, that service may collect data and set cookies under its own privacy policy, as if you had visited it directly.
Competition results
Race and meet results (name, age group, club affiliation, marks and times) are the public record of the sport. We publish them as part of our purpose as an association, including results for youth athletes, per USATF practice. To ask about a correction to published results, contact the relevant committee through our contacts page.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but the analytics opt-outs above work regardless.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that run this website (hosting, analytics), with USATF as needed for sanctioned events and membership matters, and when the law requires it.
Your rights
California residents may ask us what personal information we hold about them, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, call the PA Office at (916) 792-0835 or write to us at 120 Ponderosa Court, Folsom, CA 95630. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
