Track & Field Mini Camps
Clinics will be taught by the current Logan Track & Field staff as well as Logan alumni. These mini camps are open to athletes and to coaches.
October 31 – Sprints & long jump for beginning athletes
December 19 – Jumps: triple jump, high jump, pole vault, strength training
January 9 – Long jump, triple jump
January 16 – Hurdles, discus, triple jump, high jump, strength training

$10.00 for residents single camp / $50 for all camps … add $5 for same day registration
$15.00 for non residents single camp / $75 for all camps … add $5 for same day registration

USATF Coaching Education – Level 1 Schools
The USATF Coaching Education Level 1 program is intended as a starting point for coaches. One of the objectives of the Level 1 program is to put all coaches on common ground (i.e., speaking the same language). The Level 1 program covers all rudimentary manner by emphasizing fundamentals, rules, safety / risk management, and instruction techniques. Level 1 certification prepares an individual to coach at junior high schools and high schools, as well as for clubs and junior age divisions.

Time: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm on Saturday / 8:30 am – 7:00 pm on Sunday

Cost: $125 if received by December 5 or $150 late or on-site registration

Date: January 16-17, 2010
Time: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm on Saturday / 8:30 am – 7:00 pm on Sunday

Scholarships available
Dave Shrock was able to secure funding to send 20 coaches to these Level 1 clinics for free. But you must apply by November 28 @ 5 pm. Even if you are new to coaching… this can still apply to you!
Back by popular request, a gigantic one day Nor-Cal clinic devoted solely to the teaching of track and field techniques! Nationally recognized clinicians will provide information that you will be able to immediately apply.
